Part-time Jobs in the UAE: Introduction
Under the new visa regulations in the UAE, teenagers can work part-time with a new juvenile work permit. Teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 can apply for a part-time work permit with a NOC from their guardian or parent and a valid residency visa. Other documents include a certification of fitness for the job from the relevant medical authority and a passport photocopy.
The employer must apply for an employment permit from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE). Teenagers can only work 6 hours a day with a 1-hour break and can not work at night or be employed in hazardous industries. The government prohibits teenagers from working during holidays or overtime.
Only people over 15 can get a juvenile work permit. But teenagers above 12 and below 18 can apply for work experience internships in private enterprises if they get a training permit from MOHRE.
But there are no full-time or part-time jobs for 13–14-year-olds in the UAE as per the new law passed on February 22.

Why choose part-time jobs?
Part-time jobs at an early age can shape their future. Sometimes we get involved in work that is not meant for us or does not suit our future vision, nature, and character. There is a significant role for guardians in choosing part-time jobs. Parents or guardians can help teenagers find what they want. Do they want to work to earn money for future college costs, do something they like, obtain experience, or test out a potential career path? Discuss these questions with the teenagers. Then, start hunting for a job again to cater to your requirements.
The kids can pursue part-time jobs that will assist them in achieving their objectives or goals by keeping those in mind. But you must understand the laws that will facilitate you in figuring out age restrictions and the number of hours your adolescent may work each week. It is also noteworthy to have the qualifications or experience required for the job.
